A home for creative experimentation, collaboration, and new ways of making.
House of Tríus is a growing creative project exploring how artists, thinkers, and makers can support each other to create meaningful work outside traditional structures. Founded by Tríus Douglas, the project brings together performance, writing, sound, digital tools, and community collaboration. At its heart, House of Tríus asks a simple question:
What becomes possible when creatives share ideas, resources, and support rather than working alone?
Watch: Spoken word
Performance is at the centre of my practice. Through spoken word, music, and multimedia storytelling, I explore themes of identity, transformation, community, and imagination.
House of Tríus grows out of this practice — expanding the stage into a shared creative space where ideas can meet and evolve.
It takes a VIllage
House of Tríus is an evolving creative home for independent artists and alternative thinkers.
Many creatives today work outside traditional institutions, often navigating systems that weren’t designed to support their ways of thinking or making.
House of Tríus is an attempt to build something different.
A space where creatives can:
• share tools and knowledge
• develop new work
• collaborate across disciplines
• support one another’s creative practice
Over time, the aim is to grow a community of artists who make things together — performances, ideas, experiments, and conversations.
About Trius
[“tree-uhs”]
Tríus Douglas is an interdisciplinary creative working across spoken word, burlesque, music, writing, and digital media.
Alongside artistic work, Tríus develops tools and creative structures that help artists organise ideas, collaborate, and bring projects into the world.
House of Tríus is the evolving space where these ideas meet — part studio, part community experiment.
Current Development
This stage is about building the foundations for the project — testing ideas, developing tools, and exploring sustainable ways to support creative communities.
Right now, that includes:
• developing digital tools that help creatives organise and develop ideas
• experimenting with collaborative ways of making work
• planning small live events and performances
• building a supportive creative netwo
membership (in development)
House of Tríus will gradually grow into a membership-based creative community.
The structure is designed to keep the door open while also supporting deeper collaboration.
Stay Connected
House of Tríus is still growing.
